Our host was very attentive and friendly. Lovely grounds, had a dear graze in the garden at night. Cozy place, very romantic getaway. The hut was comfortable, compact as you would expect, but we are used to camping. Unfortunately the road noise is constant, but can't be helped. The pub nearby was basic, if you can, I'd adventure to a better venue if you are wanting something a bit more special

The stay was lovely; the hosts replied quickly and even heated the hot tub right after we requested it, plus we spotted some beautiful wildlife. Nothing else to complain about.

I booked the Bell Nook as a birthday getaway for my girlfriend and it turned out to be the best experience! The hosts were thoughtful, left a little birthday surprise, and stayed in touch even before we checked in, offering helpful advice on local activities. They had the hot tub ready for us on arrival and warmed it again the next day. The garden is spacious, lovely, and feels very secluded, and we even saw a deer strolling through. The town is only a 20‑minute walk away, and it’s reachable by train in 45 minutes from London, so no car is needed, which was a big plus. We definitely recommend this spot for anyone wanting to escape the city or simply relax in a peaceful setting, and we’re already planning to book again in the autumn. No negatives to mention.
