I found the place spotless and situated in a convenient spot, and the shops were just a short walk away, which made everything very handy.

This cozy inn was in a great spot and the room was super comfy and clean, even big enough to surprise me, with a tiny fridge that proved very handy. I didn’t hear any noise from other rooms all week, and the staff were lovely; the pub felt welcoming and the outdoor garden was beautiful. My dog slept comfortably in the room, and I was impressed that the hotel was so dog‑friendly yet still spotless—no dog smell on the carpet, which is rare elsewhere. I’d recommend it to anyone, especially with plenty of food options nearby. The downside is there’s no on‑site parking, which is a bit inconvenient, but a car park is a 5‑7 minute walk away, so it’s manageable; you can also drive up to the pub door to drop off luggage.

The staff were excellent as always, going out of their way to help from the moment I left my car, and the room was beautiful with a splendid location. Nothing else to add.
