The rooms were pleasantly spacious. The room size was absolutely appropriate for us and far from too small. We especially liked that the house was very quiet and not at all noisy. The stay worked smoothly even with our dog, and there was some open space around the accommodation. For dog owners, it’s good to know that the property isn’t fenced. The air conditioning worked well during our stay. Because the room is very high and reaches under the roof, we can’t judge how well it cools during prolonged very hot temperatures. On one day it was about 36 °C and then the nights were already a bit cooler. Parking is generous and ample. The location is also good for car trips. Several restaurants are reachable in less than ten minutes by car. We took about 40 minutes by car to Florence early in the morning. Breakfast is rather typical Italian and offers many sweet foods and cakes. There was also cereal, cornflakes, milk, various yoghurts, fruit, as well as tomatoes and zucchini. We especially liked the freshly squeezed orange juice. The accommodation is directly on a main street, which had more traffic during our stay than we expected. The pool area faces the street. Even with closed windows we found our room still pleasantly quiet. Those who like to sleep with an open window should know that traffic noises can be heard depending on the time of day. At breakfast we would have liked a little more selection of fresh bread or rolls besides toast. A short stay of one or two nights was overall suitable for us. For a longer holiday we would personally prefer a somewhat quieter location. That is, however, certainly a matter of individual expectations and needs.
