I booked this older hotel because the price was good, and the breakfast turned out to be decent. The Wi‑Fi in the bar area worked very well, but there was nowhere in my room to sit and work even though the Wi‑Fi there was also good.

We stayed in a very spacious room that had all the facilities we needed. Each of us received a bottle of water and the coffee sachets were refilled daily, and shower gel and other toiletries were supplied. The breakfast was generous, reasonably priced, and offered plenty of options. It would have been nice to have a lift, but the manager kindly carried our luggage up two flights of stairs.

The hotel’s location is great for visiting my daughter at university. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly. The rooms were lovely and clean, and we always received a warm welcome.

Breakfast and the location were good, and the bedroom offered nice views of the strait. The light switches were hard to reach when lying in bed, so we had to move the beds to reach them. Otherwise, the room was lovely.
