“It’s quiet in a secluded area which I liked wasn’t noisy”

The place was quiet and the staff were nice, but the room had no ventilator. The other building’s old AC barely worked, the bathroom door was only partially latched, and a pill my child found in the room made me question the cleanliness. The drinks were still in the fridge, so how could the room be called clean? The room I requested wasn’t what I got, and there was no discount.

The overall facility was nice, but the staff never answered simple requests, such as replacing a broken coffee maker or taking a room‑service order. I was staying for three days, so I expected those issues to be resolved.

The bed was great, but the train runs right by the building and you can hear it; it wasn't a huge issue, I got used to it quickly.

“This has been the worst and overpriced hotel experience I have ever experienced!”

Breakfast was okay, but we were overcharged: the price listed online was $70, yet we were billed nearly $200 per night, and an additional $200 was taken from our account for nothing. The toilet wouldn't flush the first night, and they tried to inconvenience us by moving us to another room because no one was available to fix it until morning. Given my physical condition, that was very challenging. We were told we could only get the online price, so we tried to find a cheaper rate online but were still overcharged. The room was on the far end of the hotel, very inconvenient. When we asked for toothpaste, they gave us expired toothpaste that had expired in 2024. It's a poorly run hotel, and a train regularly drove past our room, waking us up.
