The location is good, very close to the temple, however to reach this stay if you are coming by a car that is registered in states other than Tamil Nadu, you will have to bribe the police or park your vehicle somewhere else and take an auto. The staff advised me to bribe the police, I am not very sure if they are all involved in this. The stay is overpriced, the room was very unclean, we could smell the chemicals throughout our stay there, there were some strange insects inside the room, the bathroom was very unclean, the tap at the washbasin was broken, it also looked like it was not cleaned. The plastic cover on the mattress was not removed, making it uncomfortable throughout the night. Also, on bookingcom, there is not prepayment requirement, but the staff demanded that i made an advance payment. we paid 6300 for our stay and i would say it is a total rip off, you will get decent or even better stays for lesser price. The "close to temple" statement is a scam as you will have to bribe the Police or the guards in order to get there. Beware of the "special Darshan" they sell at hotel, it only works if you are lucky. We agreed for it as we had an 84 year old Gradma with us and thought this would make it convinient, but it was again a scam. The person who was supposed to accompany us showed up 1 hour late and the promised 30 to 45 minute darshan became a 3 hour darshan. the special darshan only works if you are lucky and if the person who accompany you has good contacts with the police and guards inside the temple. There were no toiletries provided, even though it was mentioned on bookingcom as available
