The old building was renovated into a very cozy and stylish place; this time I stayed on the mezzanine floor and found the room very small and cute, actually more spacious and bright than the photos showed. I loved the old wooden door with a brass lock and the floral floor tiles in the bathroom. Even though it’s an old house, the room was very clean and had a dehumidifier, keeping it dry all day. The host was friendly and charming, a person with a story. The drinks and snacks in the guesthouse were abundant, like at a friend’s house. It’s the most high‑quality Penghu guesthouse I’ve ever stayed in.

I spent an amazing time here; the place is gorgeous and has everything you could need. The room was roomy, spotless, and cozy, with a lovely design. The hosts were genuinely helpful and attentive, making my island experience unforgettable. Breakfast was great, offering Taiwanese dishes I’d never have tried otherwise, and the location suited me perfectly.

Everything was flawless! Vicky, Peter, and their two kids live right next to the hostel, and the room and house feel beautiful and snug. Breakfast was tasty, the free airport shuttle was handy, and they gave us fantastic tips—plus they even took us out for dinner once. Vicky speaks excellent English, answered all our questions about Penghu and Taiwan, arranged scooters and a boat tour, and truly cared for us. We’ll miss them and hope to return soon.

I stayed at Penghu Mù Resident House, and what pleased me most was its location and comfortable surroundings. The homestay is close to the sea, allowing easy walks to the beautiful beach and scenic spots, letting me enjoy the ocean view anytime. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a warm décor that felt like home. The host was welcoming and offered many useful travel tips, making my Penghu trip more enjoyable and fulfilling.
