“Nicht zu empfehlen, schlechter Service und Sauberkeit”

The fig tree in the garden was nice, but we can't list all the problems here. We wouldn't recommend this inn. For €95 a night we expected a clean, well‑maintained place, yet we found dust and hair on the sheets, a thick layer of dust on the bin, and stains and a yellow spot on the toilet. One towel had many bleaching spots, and later we received damp, moldy towels. The requested toilet paper never arrived. The small room with a sloped ceiling offered little space, forcing us to stoop in parts. There was no mosquito net. The steep staircase seemed unsuitable for older or disabled guests. Spiders, dirt, leaves, coffee stains, and overflowing ashtrays were not cleared during our stay. A reported wasp nest in the entrance was not addressed until we left. The advertised “rich breakfast buffet” was disappointing: hard discount rolls, limited selection, no yogurt, no muesli, no hot dishes. Scrambled eggs smelled strong, boiled eggs were in water, and the coffee pot was visibly dirty each day. Over €700 for seven nights, hygiene, cleanliness, and service were totally inadequate, and the cited staff shortage does not justify the conditions or the price.

“Alles bestens”

It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the owner welcomed us warmly at check‑in. The breakfast lady was super friendly and attentive. The location is perfect for trips, whether walking, biking, or driving. We felt completely at ease and will gladly recommend the place.

The inn’s location was great and the employees were friendly and entertaining. I’d have liked a buffet breakfast and fresh fruit. The mattress was very soft, uncomfortable, and had peeling fibers; the smoke detector was missing and the bathroom door couldn’t open fully, so entry was only from the side. I asked an employee to review these issues with me, but I don’t know if they were fixed promptly. See above for details.
