The proximity to the Keur Moussa abbey was a plus, yet almost everything else was bad: the staff were unfriendly and deceptive, trying to charge us extra for anything on the plate, the rooms had no working lights, and they promised to pick us up at the airport but left us to walk; it was the worst value‑for‑money experience I’ve had in Senegal.

The space felt good, but the stale smell from the closed rooms, the paint, and cleaning products was unpleasant, and there were flies.
