The hosts are like a wonderful family, and the staff at the inn are angels. The only downside was that my trip ran out of time.
“Buen trato.”
The service was good, but the room lacked a television.
“Tranquilidad”
It has its own kitchen for guests, so you can do your shopping and prepare meals there, saving a lot on food; the hosts’ guide is very good and they help you get cheaper tours, selling tickets on site and even giving discounts. It’s close to one of the best rocky kayak beaches, which for me was the best after the aquarium, and the lady Janet even offers to take you to the market and recommends local vendors for cheaper prices, making it very economical if you want to save money. The only bad thing was that the room I got had no TV; it was in the living area and most of the time it was occupied, so when you tried to rest you had nothing to watch except your phone, and it was embarrassing to ask for a TV, which was the only thing I didn’t like.
“Cocoplum”
The welcome was great in an old house in the most authentic part of the island, and the backyard garden with mango and banana trees was beautiful. The Cocoplum beach is a 15‑minute walk away, and I highly recommend it.
“Um sonho de lugar.”
The place is wonderful, with a very special charm that felt like a period drama. Peggy, Janete, and Noralva were delightful, very helpful, kind, affectionate, and attentive, making us feel at home; the beds were clean and cozy, the kitchen functional, and it’s a place that will stay in my memory forever and I’ll recommend it to everyone. I liked everything; it was perfect.
