The location was perfect with a view, parking access, and good breakfast. The breakfast itself was excellent—eggs, cheese, bread, salad, fruit—all prepared like home cooking, no fuss, just nice. The hosts were friendly and eager to help. The room is one of five around a nice courtyard that has seating and lighting, great for sitting out. The shower room is simple, clean, and has strong water pressure with plenty of hot water, but it tends to spray the door, which now needs replacing—hopefully with something more water‑resistant. The bed is wide and comfortable. This room is in a restored village home built in 1770, so it has character but isn’t trying to be a trendy hotel; if you want a pristine, squeaky‑clean modern room, go elsewhere. There is no TV, but Wi‑Fi works fine. A slight problem with access: the village roads are always a bit treacherous, and the main village route had a slightly tortuous detour with narrow streets, potholes, steep bends, and tight turns—temporary, though the usual route is straightforward. The host gave excellent arrival guidance. A couple of maintenance issues: the shower‑room door, the fixings of the heavy bedside lights, and the window shutters need repair—small things that would improve the overall experience. Also, don’t come if you’re bothered by cats; there are many feral felines around, not the owners’ responsibility, but be aware.

The vibe was excellent—I really loved the atmosphere, and the room was clean and comfy. The only issue was that water was dripping outside the bathroom and getting into the room; nothing special, but I mention it so the house can be fixed before it causes damage.
