The property is lovely, they make you feel special and well taken care of, there’s no crowding, the beach is quiet, and the rooms are large and well appointed, though some electronic background noise can bother sensitive ears.

The hotel ruined my entire vacation; their conduct feels almost fraudulent. I paid with my AMEX card in USD two weeks before a 4‑day stay, then at check‑in they demanded a deposit and charged my AMEX again in Mexican peso for the full stay. I asked for a refund during my stay, was promised one, but 16 days later I still haven’t received it. Neither the hotel nor the Royalton Reserve Collection responds to my emails, and their replies are so confusing I suspect I’m talking to a robot. Don’t trust them; I’ve gotten no help.

This hotel sits right on the beach, and the whole team gives an exceptional welcome, especially Norma and Edouardo who are always ready to help. The three Spanish restaurants are excellent. The only issue was a faint odor lingering in the room.

I’ve stayed here four times now, and each visit feels just as delightful as the last. The recent renovation looks stunning, and the staff—always attentive—goes out of their way to cater to us. The food is superb, and we’ll definitely return with great enthusiasm. The hotel’s 100‑room layout is perfect for those who value privacy. The only downside is that the music around the pool can get a bit loud at times.
