I really like to say it was a horrible experience just to keep demand down - so it stays perfect. But honestly, we love it here. The best little hotel we have ever stayed at for the price. Of course we have stayed at some great luxury hotels around the world, but this is the absolute best utilitarian hotel. We stayed 5 days for a football game and to visit family. Their management is the secret. Other Americinn's are ok, but this one stands out. Kind competent staff, great cleaning staff, the best breakfast, pool, hot tub, and Happy hour with free beer, nachos and popcorn. Location is great. A few restaurants in walking distance, West town Mall and fast access to campus and Beltline. What more do you want? To pay more is not a smart choice in this case. We've stayed at the Edgewater in Madison - they're great. But sometimes we just want to save a lot of money. Thank you staff for a wonderful stay!

“A 2 star motel.”

The bed was comfy and the shower worked well, but a garbage truck was outside my room at 3 am, the bathroom door needed trimming to close properly, and the air conditioner emitted a terrible odor that required cleaning.

“Excellent all around”

Everything was great, especially the hard‑working staff, but the homeless sleeping on the lawn across the street and near the hotel harassed everyone coming and going; the hotel did a decent job keeping them away, yet being bothered by people asking for your property is terrible, and the plaza across the street is terrorized by these people.
