The hostel has a very stylish and cool decor, and the kitchen facilities are incredible – even an air fryer! They only provided a sheet as bedding, no blanket or duvet, and the location is quite far from everything, so you’ll need to take a bus or walk about 50 minutes to get anywhere.

I didn’t realize when I booked that I’d be staying in a backpacker’s place, so I was a bit taken aback when I saw how stylish Bounce Noosa actually was. The key‑free entry via the phone app was a neat touch, and the room was nicely decorated with an ensuite and tea/coffee station. The pool area buzzed with young adults, which was fun to hear, though it got a bit noisy until about 10 pm. Overall, it was a great stay and I left impressed.

The hotel was very clean and modern, with plenty of amenities and a friendly, cool staff. What bothered me was the lack of curtains on the beds – a simple addition that would make a difference. Housekeeping was a bit intrusive, cleaning the room three times a day, knocking on the door, opening it briefly, and then leaving, which felt unnecessary.
