“Authentic home stay very friendly”
This place is a genuine homestay, so don’t count on modern amenities, but that’s exactly what makes it perfect. The Nepali food is fresh and delicious, and the owner is very attentive and a helpful local guide. The towels and sheets could be upgraded, but the covers are cozy.
“Herbergement OK mais ne savent pas faire à manger. Dommage.”
It feels a bit like a guest house. For the price, you get a typical Nepali‑style room overlooking vegetable gardens, with a hot shower. The bed is extremely hard, like sleeping on a plank. The evening meal and breakfast offer few options and aren’t very good. They can’t cook well. No dessert in the evening, not even a fruit, even though there are fields everywhere. Toilet paper is used as tablecloths!!!
“Fantastische plek!”
The location is fantastic. The rooms are simple, but it’s an experience to stay the traditional way.
Bisnu’s house is a rare old Nepali building, and the view over the fields is stunning. Bisnu is an excellent host, always available and listening. We loved his welcome, especially the mint lemonade made with garden mint when we arrived. You’ll get to try traditional Nepali dishes cooked with the garden’s organic vegetables. I recommend the Dahl bat, which was very good! The room is rustic but clean and comfortable. The toilets and showers are outside but clean, and you’ll have hot water. If you’re after an unusual experience in a calm, warm setting, this place is for you!
“I just felt at gome with Bisnu at his ancestors' place. Completely recommended!”
Bisnu is an amazing host, super welcoming, and would do everything to make you feel at home. The view and location are also super relaxing, with a beautiful view over the potatoes or rice fields. The breakfast was great. I highly recommend!
