The breakfast and location were excellent. Tonia was lovely, efficient, and very helpful. The room was quirky, built into the rock, and the views were amazing. Dmitri (hope I got his name right) was a gem too.

This was a home away from home. Tonia and Demetrius were so helpful and friendly. The views are spectacular and the breakfast served to our room was excellent. Everything was perfect.

We were blown away by every detail – the spot, the gorgeous grounds, our room, and the service all hit the mark. What really made the trip unforgettable was Tonia, who handled Wind Tales with professionalism, warmth, care and genuine hospitality. From the moment we stepped in we felt right at home. We had the best time we could have imagined, and Tonia and Dimi were simply amazing – thanks for making our stay at Wind Tales so special! Wind Tales is one of those places that leaves you with great memories and an immediate urge to return. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone heading to Syros, and for us it truly felt like a home away from home. The only downside was the many stairs, which are part of the setting. That was fine for us, but guests with limited mobility or difficulty walking should consider this before booking.

We loved the vistas – the sunrise and sunsets were spectacular. The accommodation was quirky, packed with original touches, and restored to a very high standard, unlike anything we’ve stayed in before. Tonia was fantastic and a real asset to our stay at Wind Tales. Breakfast was wonderful, served on the balcony, and Tonia’s local knowledge helped us find restaurants and book taxis; she was always willing. Demetri was great, taking our luggage to the taxi park and being there whenever we needed him. It’s not ideal for people with vertigo or limited mobility; the steps are steep and narrow, and while the breeze was pleasant, it made reaching the higher points a bit tricky. Still, we loved our stay.
