“Good to come back to after our day out.”

The downstairs area of Sharyns home with a separate entrance was quiet, and many small personal touches and helpful notes made the stay very welcome; the facilities were well appointed, and there were wide choices for continental breakfast. Lots of varied books and DVDs were available if you want to pass the time that way, and watching TV via the computer was different, but clear instructions made it easy. Loved the gardens, and Sharyn and Owen were easy to talk to and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The downside was having to park on the road, especially since road works had just restricted the immediate parking, but I understand that with their own vehicles and pets; everything else was fine.

“Hmm it was cheap”

Nothing to say positively; the floor and carpets were trip hazards, the bedroom was crowded with stuff and had nowhere to sit comfortably, the TV was a computer, the middle room was a storeroom, and there were barking dogs at the entry, among other issues.

“Would be very happy to stay again”

Lovely breakfast with plenty of variety that was always topped up each day; the location was perfect for us visiting family and doing some sightseeing, and everything was very good the way it was.

“Dunedin”

Sharyn was lovely and helpful, and the room came with maps and info about Dunedin; we felt very comfortable, and honestly I can’t fault anything.

The service was excellent, but it was disappointing that we had to leave our car parked on the street.
