Azur Hotel by ST Hotels

The location is great, right next to the harbor. The breakfast was okay, and the reception staff were very nice. Our room faced the firewall of multiple buildings. When we opened the balcony door, there was an unbearable noise. Also, after breakfast, we wanted to enjoy our coffee and a cigarette in front of the hotel entrance. This went smoothly for the first two days, we drank our coffee and took the empty cups back to the restaurant. However, on the third morning, a staff member named Catharina stopped me while I was holding my coffee. She ordered me around like a small child, telling me that coffee cannot be taken out of the restaurant. It was terribly humiliating in front of the other guests

“Gute zentrale Lage, um Malta kennen zu lernen.”

Good location to start activities from there. Unfortunately, at that time there was a construction site on the street, so there was construction noise. Breakfast was limited, with hardly any variety.

Le camere erano carine e ben arredate. La pulizia era quasi inesistente, si limitavano a rifare i letti, spazzare e lavare a terra grossolanamente, Nella doccia sono rimasti messi da parte dei pezzi di carta per tutto il periodo di soggiorno. Il cestino nel bagno era schizzato ( spero non di pipì) ed è rimasto così tutto il soggiorno. Hanno confermato dopo la mia richiesta via e-mail culla e vaschetta per lavare i bambini, ma al nostro arrivo ci hanno detto che non avevano vaschette mentre la culla era già in camera. Nella altra camera( essendo due famiglie) la culla non è mai arrivata. Dentro la camera persisteva una puzza che non si capiva la provenienza( fogna mista a tovaglie bagnate)e ne conferma il fatto che quando sistemavano la camera lasciavano la finestra aperta( dalle 15.30 fino al nostro rientro 22.00 circa). Ecc ecc ecc

“A well-located hotel for exploring Malta.”

The hotel sits in a great spot, close to the ferry and several restaurants, and the pool is conveniently near the hotel. I recommend it. The room had a musty odor, probably from the air conditioning; we avoided using it again and left the balcony door open instead, which worked fine.
