The rooms were clean and updated, and the hotel is very close to shopping and Charlotte Motor Speedway, but there was no wifi during my stay, no game room, no streaming TV channels, and no kids area—nothing for a family with kids.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the place was spotless, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

The location was perfect for my short work trip to Concord, yet the bed was completely uncomfortable, the TV navigation felt like the mid‑90s, the couch made loud annoying noises, the bath and bed linens were TERRIBLE, the corridors smelled of musty fungi, the stairs were probably faster than the elevator, and the toilet made a loud obnoxious cycling noise that kept waking me up; it’s hard to see how Marriott could attach its name to this overpriced MOTEL.
