Paradise Hotel

I had read a lot of reviews and was a bit hesitant before booking, but after staying I was far more impressed than expected. The hotel “Rai” is one of those places that should be judged by the feeling it leaves, not just the small details. The place is extremely quiet, the nature around Majarovo is beautiful, and the garden and views create an incredible atmosphere. For me it was a true escape from noise and everyday life. Our room was clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I liked the food—tasty, homemade, with reasonable portions. What mattered most was the hosts’ attitude—smiling, responsive, and personally attentive to guests. I read comments that expected luxury and perfection, but I wasn’t looking for that. I wanted peace, nature, good food, and human warmth—and that’s exactly what I got. I would gladly return. Sometimes a place isn’t perfect, but it has soul—and “Rai” definitely has it.

The town where the hotel is located was nice, but the shower-toilet combo was dirty and the owners weren’t friendly, so I had to cut my stay short because I developed a rash.

The room came with air‑conditioning, a mosquito net on the window and a wardrobe, which were the main positives, and the hosts seemed like nice older people who also provided soap, towels and shampoo; it felt like they’d built it with great enthusiasm when they were younger, and all the towels and sheets were clean, even fresh ones waiting as we left, so the bed linen was spotless, but the moment I entered the room there was a disgusting smell, the bathroom reeked terribly of dampness/mould, a peacock kept screeching all night waking me about five times and once I couldn’t fall asleep for more than an hour, tiny beetles were on the floor and one apparently burst when my wife brushed it off, there were spider webs on the walls, and only two power outlets by the beds – one needed for the AC and the other forced me to share a charger, making the layout very inconvenient for a single bed.

The place is terrible! Don't lie to yourself and visit it! Moreover, they force you to leave the place at 8:00 a.m. even though it is explicitly stated as 12:00 a.m. After a week, some woman calls and shouts that you took three face towels 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Who is unlucky to be stuck with their dead face towels. Instead of thinking about hygiene because it is under all kinds of criticism, they are like that. The tent is much more luxurious! It's a pity they have a better event in the area and don't take advantage! People, DON'T GO to the hotel, find alternatives for the area 👍👍
