I’ve stayed here more than once, and every time it feels like coming home. Dayani is the kindest, most attentive host—always ready to help and go the extra mile with any request. The place sits on a quiet street, right by a temple, which makes it feel safe and peaceful. It has its own kitchen with all the necessary utensils, making it easy to cook at home. The grounds are beautifully maintained, full of charm, and a pleasure to spend time in. Cleaning and linen changes are done weekly, and there’s a washing machine for convenience. I’m already looking forward to coming back 🤍🤍🤍
I think this is a real gem for the price. The renovation is fairly fresh, rooms are clean, the area is quiet and calm, and the hosts are very, very sweet. P.S.: a local peacock often visits.

We loved it so much that we extended our stay three times. Weligama is the perfect place for beginners and advanced surfers alike. Birds and sunshine wake you up here, and occasionally a peacock passes by.
All! Great location, clean and cozy room. It has its own kitchen, which is a big bonus because sometimes you want to cook yourself. Hot water is always on because there’s a boiler. The host is pleasant and responsive. I’ll definitely come back.
