The bedroom was warm thanks to the small column heater, and the bed was very comfortable. A touch of Whittaker's chocolate served as my dessert after dining out. The power box in the TV room was overloaded; it took a moment to resolve the issue when I turned on the heater, the kettle wouldn't boil, and the fridge stopped working.

The entire experience was beautiful, warm, and inviting. The owner was genuinely pleased to meet us, had our B&B ready on arrival, and the place itself was stunning. Breakfast was fabulous, with chocolate bars and a great selection of teas. Everything was loved, and there was nothing we didn't like.

We skipped breakfast because we were at a birthday party; if it had been an evening event we’d have enjoyed the cereal and toast. There was nothing to dislike, it met our needs, we stayed warm and cosy, it was quiet and relaxed, the perfect spot to unwind, and it was great value for a 2‑night stay.

I liked the separate lounge area, the separate toilet and bathroom, and the comfortable bed; it was nice to have all the breakfast essentials ready. The couch was a bit uncomfortable, but fine for a brief visit.
