“Mala experiencia, mala calidad”

Honestly, I didn’t like almost anything, except for the respectful and friendly staff; the room was on the second floor so I didn’t have to climb many stairs, but breakfast required going up to the third floor, and the space was cramped and closed off. The access was tricky because taxis couldn’t reach the hotel door and we had to walk a block; the room was uncomfortable with a hard mattress and pillows, no outlets for laptop or phone charging—only one in the bathroom—and it was cold. Breakfast was average, but the area was tight and closed, plus the stairs to the third floor; the price was too high for the quality of the hotel and service.

The location is perfect—no uphill walk, but depending on the Uber, they sometimes drop you off a bit away from the door. The breakfast was disappointing; the bread was often stale and unappetizing. The staff aren’t required to be friendly or flexible with breakfast timing, yet when we asked a staff member if we could have a yogurt before a tour at 6:45 while breakfast starts at 7:00, she was hostile and insisted the breakfast would only be served at 7:00. I’d advise Brazilian guests to bring instant coffee because the local coffee and bread are different, and you can use the hot water to make your own. Also, I had a taxi booked for 3:20 am to Machu Picchu, but no taxi arrived; I had to call an Uber myself, so I don’t trust their taxi arrangements.
