The location was decent.

The reception area was nice and the hotel stayed clean, though not all staff were helpful. The central location was good, close to a taxi rank, shops, eating spots, and a big supermarket. However, the place was noisy, on the flight path to and from Naples Airport, and guests at night were loud and disrespectful of late hours. The room was very small; I thought I booked a Double Room but got a tiny Single Room instead. The toilet leaked, so I had to buy a pack of toilet rolls to mop up water, and the domestic ladies left me without rolls or hand towels twice. I could hear neighbors next door (not in the hotel). The air conditioning didn’t work properly; when I asked a staff member to fix it, he didn’t understand my explanation, used Italian words in a phone translator, showed me the English translation, and called me “a small bag” as if complaining about me. He should be reprimanded for treating a paying guest that way.

I didn’t like anything at all, except the location. I found the place very dirty and lacking any service. The cleaning was nonexistent; there was not a single functioning faucet, sink, shower, bidet, bedside lamp, or outlet. The bed was uncomfortable, the mattresses collapsed and dirty—an absolute disaster.

The mattress had a hole on one side, making it impossible to sleep, and on the other side the springs poked into my back all night. How much does a new mattress cost? We paid little, yet at the property the total was €156 according to Booking, but at arrival they asked for €165, which I refused because it didn’t match my booking. They showed me their notes: €95 + €65, which totals €160, so they had already added €5 to the total. After insisting and showing the confirmation email, I paid the required €156. In all of Naples it was impossible to pay with a Postepay—why?
