The countryside location and bar views were nice, and the spa was good. The restaurant was overpriced for the small portions it served.

Everything was perfect. The location was great. Nothing negative.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and breakfast was lovely too. The only downside was limited accessible parking next to the entrance for a physically disabled person.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a good selection, well‑cooked and well‑presented meals. The restaurant staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The patio facing the golf course was nice to sit on and enjoy the views. The bedroom was very tired and needed refurbishment. The bathroom only had a wall‑mounted shower gel. We were on level 1 and heard a lot of noise from room doors and especially the fire doors. The sofas and chairs in the lounge areas were very worn. We waited over 30 minutes for a sandwich in the bar area, and it seemed to have been sitting in the kitchen for a while, as the upper bread layer was drying out. The pool was okay, but the loungers were in need of replacement and there weren’t many of them. I found a lounger next to a small pool where children were playing, so I couldn’t relax or read my book because of the noise. This was a return visit after about 12 years, and it didn’t meet the expectations set by my last stay.
