A beautiful pousada with a lovely pool and garden. The breakfast was good and the staff were wonderful. However, there were rats in the roof rafters all night, so I couldn’t sleep well.

The location was great and the pousada cozy! The room we stayed in was small, dimly lit, but very snug and clean.

The green, hidden forest path led to the rooms; the staff were polite and friendly and the breakfast was well prepared, but the bedding had a wood smell—probably from humidity and the lodge’s style—so the forest feel (beautiful) was still present on the way to the room.
