Even though they let my reservation slip past the stated deadline, when I showed up there was nobody to greet me – the gate was shut, my messages got no reply and the phone rang straight to voicemail. On top of that, a stranger was standing there watching every car that pulled up, which made me feel pretty unsafe. Definitely a negative experience.

The spot is right in the middle of town, surrounded by tons of restaurants, yet tucked away on a side street so the garden stays quiet. The host was incredibly friendly – when my charger adapter failed she handed me hers on the spot and was always there with a big smile to answer any question. The whole vibe is peaceful, which I really value.

This place radiates a blessed kind of joy, with a natural pool, hot tub and a location that's close to everything. Matheus is charismatic and always ready to help, offering spot‑on tips about waterfalls and local tours, which made the stay feel special. The only downside was the bathroom in my room – it was really tight for someone of my size (90 kg), though the rest of the room was beautiful.

The rooms were clean, the bed and pillows super comfy, and the little garden inside was really peaceful. Being right in the centre of the village made getting around a breeze, so the location couldn't be better.
