I stayed in a lovely home right in the heart of old Bayuex, and the host was very kind and helpful. The 18th‑century house was beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect for exploring the town before heading to the Normandy beaches and museums, and I felt safe walking everywhere. It’s a ten‑minute ride from the train station and a ten‑minute walk to the tour departure. Because it’s an individual’s home, the host might be out doing daily chores, so make sure to specify your arrival time and contact the host. He was very accommodating and helpful.
