“A great place to stay.”

The room was lovely, with a comfy bed, a great shower, and homemade shortbread that was worth the trip just for that. The owners were friendly and helpful, offering advice on the best things to do and timing, with lots of personal touches. I loved the decor, especially the knitted mice peeping out of the skirting, and I’m glad I didn’t have to dust it. The outdoor seating area featured a relaxing water feature. It’s close to the beach and the harbour. I didn’t find anything to dislike, but I would recommend a cab from the train and bus station if you’re coming that way, as it’s a steep hill to the guesthouse with a suitcase. The buses and trains are excellent and reasonably priced.

“We really enjoyed our stay, from our accommodation to Whitby itself. We also visited other places.”

Breakfast was a great choice, and there were no problems for Tracey or Jason. The location is within easy walking distance of the main street where the train and bus stations are. There are plenty of eating places, pubs, and nice shops.

Frühstück, Freundlichkeit, Sauberkeit. Mein Zimmer war im dritten Stock unter Dach. Die letzte Treppe ist super steil und schwierig mit Gepäck zu begehen. Auch wenn der Raum großzügig ist, sollte dieser nicht vermietet werden
