Overall everything was fine. The last 50 metres of the path to the hotel were dirt and stones.

Large room – cozy bed – big bathroom with warm water – good view – motorcycle rental – tasty little breakfast (not filling). Problems: 1. The guys showed little initiative – every request required someone to be asked or to drive the motorcycle down to make us happy. 2. The pool took two days to clean after I pressed the issue – we stayed two nights there – great 😑 3. The area was littered with plastic waste, like the rest of the island’s beaches. 4. One night our room wasn’t cleaned, but on request at least the towels were changed. The property is on a hill, but you can rent 125cc motorcycles from the place and they’ll take you up easily. (They were high‑priced on arrival because the island’s prices are outrageous.) I had a written quote for the bike at 1000k per day, the young man demanded 1500k, then lowered it to 1200k… In short: from disappointment to rudeness and lack of communication, no real decision‑makers – but the last day the pool was clean and everything was fine.

Nice views and a well‑kept garden. The room wasn’t sealed at all, so we had many mosquitoes and lizards that left droppings everywhere, even on the bed. The air conditioner leaked onto the floor. The hot water in the shower was minimal. The pool wasn’t clean. It was very hard to get staff attention for everything. They didn’t offer to clean the room and we struggled to get toilet paper. The road to the accommodation wasn’t great. You’ll definitely need a bike to reach the main strip because the walk is long and hilly. We rented a bike from them, it was expensive and in poor condition. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The water was faulty, rooms never got cleaned, and it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere.

The staff were nice and friendly, helping us book boat tickets and arranging a taxi to the harbour, and the swimming pool offered a good view; overall the place was clean. The biggest issue was that the cottage roof had huge openings on the sides (see photos), letting mosquitos in and making the night rough. We had booked a room with two separate beds, but on arrival we were told it was already rented and we had to settle for a single larger bed, which was disappointing. Wifi was subpar, the AC was okay but not great, hot water only ran for a couple of minutes before turning cold, water pressure was low, and there were no bottled water in the room.
