“Nauwelijks geslapen”
The location was great and the house was cozy. The beds were terrible: one felt like a plank with a sheet on top (the mattress was upside down?), the other was slightly better. The mattresses were also tucked under the bed frame’s edge, making it painful to get in and out and causing you to hit the edge every time you turned. We barely slept.

It was situated in a rural area, perfect for cycling around the Netherlands. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was cozy and I slept well. I was very happy with the accommodation. The next restaurant and Spar supermarket are 4 km away in Diepenheim, but biking isn’t a problem and it’s a nice ride.

The location and the area are great. The host is very hospitable and everything is neat. It’s a shame that a lot of light comes into the sleeping area, so if you’re sensitive to light you’ll wake up as soon as it hits. Maybe add a small shade for the little windows. The shutters on the large windows work perfectly, so for a good sleeper it’s no problem.

The room was spacious and had all the facilities, plus a nice, roomy bathroom with a good shower and comfortable beds. The place itself was very roomy with plenty of seating options and everything was usable. Very welcoming. The location was nice for walking, (clogs path), biking, and visiting nearby spots like Borculo and Markelo, which have good restaurants. A short distance away is a lovely (free) swimming spot called "het Hambroek" with amenities.
It was very uncomplicated, simple, and quiet.
