The apartment had everything needed for a 4‑day stay, and the gentleman who handled our check‑in was very courteous. The only downside was that there was no capsule or bean coffee machine—just a regular kettle.

I really liked the apartment; it was immaculate and spotless. The dining area opens onto a neighborhood street with a perfumery and a bar. There’s no air conditioning in the dining area, but a quiet fan works well. The décor is lovely, with quality details. The cotton sheets are embroidered and new, and the bed is very comfortable. A terrace at the back opens onto a courtyard—everything was perfect. The room does have air conditioning, which was great. It turned out that check‑in was supposed to be before 18:00, but we hadn’t seen that. At noon I messaged the owner, and she said she’d make an exception because we were arriving at 19:00, not 18:00. I sent the paperwork by email and added it to WhatsApp. She handled the check‑in online, and then we chatted with them on WhatsApp. They sent us the apartment entry instructions. We didn’t see any of the owners. It’s always better to have a personal contact, but I guess it was because we were arriving late. We had paid in advance. They told us to leave 5 euros on the dining table as a tourist tax, so we did.

The lady and her husband are lovely people; they made us feel right at home, the place is super clean, and the location is strategic—just one street away you can access everything you want to visit.

The apartment was gorgeous and super cozy, fully stocked with an electric espresso maker, induction cooktop, plates, cutlery, and more, plus a spacious living area, a comfy bedroom, and a tidy bathroom. Parking was free and public right outside the building, and I never had trouble finding a spot—there were always places available. The historic center of Syracuse is a long walk away, but the picturesque cliffs on the other side of the city are just a short distance. Nearby you’ll find shops, bars, and pizza spots. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
