I’ve booked this hotel for my mom many times when she travels. Its location is very convenient for those with a connection in Istanbul who need to spend a night before the next flight, as it’s close to the airport. One of the hotel blocks has been recently renovated. The staff are always very helpful, ready to assist and provide extras, like a better pillow, warm food, cutlery, and early check‑in. It might not be a good spot for people who want to visit Istanbul’s center because it’s far from the city centre.

This property apparently no longer exists. While my booking was with this property, I was taken to a completely different property; FRT Airport Otel was closed and the Garner Hotel became the replacement. There is nothing to like about this property. The room was tiny and dark, the bedding was terrible, and the bathroom was tiny and poorly equipped.

A warm greeting from everyone, especially that Egyptian lady who was incredibly kind—thanks a lot. Nothing else to mention.

The hotel is close to the airport, the room was clean, and the 24‑hour reception was polite and helpful, with a special shout‑out to Sevval from the morning shift who tried to assist me with my toll payment in Turkey. However, the room was freezing when we arrived at 2 a.m.; I had specifically requested a phone at reception before arrival and asked them to warm the room because it was zero degrees outside. The night‑shift receptionist assured me the temperature was fine, but it stayed cold until 6 a.m. since the central air conditioning was turned off at night. On top of that, we were given the worst available room with a very small window overlooking a wall, making it feel like a homeless shelter.
