The location was incredible, surrounded by nature and great hiking trails.

The room was large and the view was great.
We only ran into Jess at reception, and she was incredibly friendly, giving a detailed rundown of the best travel routes for trails, creeks, and waterfalls, and handed us two different maps to better see all the routes; the room had a stove, microwave, and a very small bbq outside; the kitchen was fully equipped except for cling wrap; they even supplied aeroguard, oil, mozzie coils, and a lighter; Jess and her husband have just taken over Rose Gums but are already doing an amazing job.

A truly amazing location! Back to basics but with everything you need and very friendly owners; from there it was easy to explore the area, and we were lucky to spot the kasuaris and the platypus! Maybe a pickup spot for some direct essentials in the house, since everything in the small town closes on time.

An unbelievable experience in a magical cabin in the woods, comfortable, beautiful, and the staff were great, with nothing to complain about.

A rural retreat in a beautiful area with good cooking facilities and a nice view, but the house was far too cold at night in July even with the pot belly stove running, and a single small electric heater was insufficient—why not a larger fire and electric blankets?
