Ballacowell

“If you want a quiet, comfortable break and excellent value for money, Ballacowell is the answer.”

The quiet yet very handy location was ideal for my needs, the owner was very welcoming and did everything possible to make the stay perfect, the room was large, well equipped and comfortable, and the breakfast was truly excellent; there was absolutely nothing that could have been improved, so I liked everything about Ballacowell.

“Homely place with very friendly host.”

The room was spacious enough for two, very clean with a big bathroom, and offered a nice garden view; the location was excellent for a wedding in the area, the host was friendly and parking was free, breakfast was lovely with fresh farm eggs and a good menu, and the dining room had a view of the garden and mountain behind; unfortunately I left early on the second day to catch the ferry home and missed breakfast, but I would stay again if I’m in the area; the only issue was a bit of road noise, which didn’t disturb my sleep (I’m a light sleeper).

“Sehr schön eingerichtetes B&B mit zuvorkommenden Besitzern”

The room is super beautiful, very large and spotless, and the bathroom is huge; the owners are very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is lovingly prepared and delicious; the only problem is that the sign indicating where to turn is only visible from one direction and very small, and the speed limit is too high to brake in time, making it a bit difficult to find the way.

A warm welcome and a cozy vibe right from the start made the experience very pleasant.
