“Logement spectaculaire dans un environnement d'un autre temps”
From the moment we arrived in the courtyard, we were transported to another era. It’s a traditional house, the smaller sibling of a slightly larger one that was unoccupied during our stay, sharing a large space with a garden and chickens pecking outside our windows in the morning. During our stay we visited Suceava’s citadel and the adjacent exhibition of traditional Bucovine houses, confirming that we were in a genuine traditional house with a functional central stove. We were completely charmed. However, as is common with such historic houses, you have to accept a slightly smaller space and less comfort (though there is still a modern, immaculate bathroom). A few small additions to the equipment would enhance the place, such as a toaster, can opener, and large utensils.
