The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of old Zagreb, within walking distance of all restaurants. A bus can easily take you around the city and to the government district. Nothing was lacking; everything met our expectations.

The room was large with a comfortable bed, but it was too hot and the only thing on the bed was a warm doona. We were told to remove the doona from its cover and keep just the cover; doing so revealed large stains on the doona. We had to sleep with the windows open, which was noisy. The carpet was threadbare—definitely not a 4‑star standard. Some staff were quite impersonal and not very friendly.
