The old building was beautifully restored, the rooms were lovingly furnished, the main house with the breakfast room was very welcoming, and the breakfast was personally served by the hosts and left no wish unmet; the hotel is very remote, so a car is needed for restaurant visits, but we really enjoyed our stay. We would have liked more options for hanging and drying towels.

It’s an amazing place to enjoy and feel every corner; the attention to detail makes you feel in a unique, historic spot. I’d add more sparkle and life to the outdoor garden; those chestnut and oak lawns deserve a specially tended garden. It’s a secluded spot, so a dinner service would be nice, and a mini‑fridge in the room would help.

The décor, the calm surroundings, the views, the natural setting, the spacious and very comfortable rooms, and the lovingly prepared breakfast by Isa were all outstanding.
