We loved staying in the chalet—privacy, everything we needed, hot water and a comfy bed were all there, plus a fire‑pit kit with marshmallows that the kids adored, a glass and corkscrew for wine, and a breakfast that felt like a separate event, arriving promptly at 8 am each day. Over four nights we enjoyed different fruits and cakes daily, two kinds of bread, and plenty of tasty food, while the chalet owner was always helpful, responded quickly and gave all the needed information. The only downsides, which aren’t deal‑breakers for me, were that the air‑conditioner didn’t heat the room enough so I needed a heavy blanket and a thermal layer because I’m very cold, and the bathroom stayed very damp—toilet paper got wet and towels didn’t dry, though they did replace our towels after two days.
