“Bine”
The room was clean, just a 15‑minute walk from the historic center and right by the metro station, and the hosts were nice enough to leave a small chocolate in the room; however, the mattresses were uncomfortable, the pillows were terrible, the building was in the middle of an LGBT community, the furniture was old, there was no refrigerator, the mini‑cooler didn’t fit any water, and there was no air conditioning.
The spot was a 10‑minute walk from the city center, the check‑in was easy, and small fridges were available in the rooms.
“Buona base per visitare la città”
The spot is great, right next to the U2 metro, and my room came with a private bathroom and a terrace that made it even more comfortable. Self‑check‑in and check‑out let me be completely independent, and I could drop my bags at the owners’ place if I needed to. The room had a teapot, tea, biscuits, a complimentary shower gel, and a mini‑fridge—though it was a bit tiny. The neighborhood is super lively, so finding places to unwind or eat is easy, especially for someone like me traveling alone for work. On the downside, the room’s soundproofing was pretty weak, but I’m a heavy sleeper so it didn’t bother me much. The hair‑dryer holder in the bathroom was missing, which would have been nice, and the toilet seemed to struggle a bit when flushing.
The location was great, making it easy to reach the city center and close to the metro, but there were no shelves or hangers in the room.
The location is close to the station. The entrance to the property looks dirty and a bit run‑down. There are restaurants around that stay noisy until late at night. The room itself is clean, but the facilities feel about right for the price.
