Hotel La Foresteria

The nature reserve of Abbadia di Fiastra is fascinating and rejuvenating. Staying at La Foresteria was an excellent choice: a great base for exploring the region, close to Macerata, 10 minutes by car from the archaeological park of Urbisaglia, and 20 minutes from the Marche coast (Civitanova Marche). The hotel stay was more than welcoming, and a special thanks to receptionists Marta and Ilaria, who were very kind, friendly, and willing to listen and accommodate our requests. In short, if you need a suitable, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay, you found it! Thank you for everything. The heat… for a place full of vegetation and forests it was very hot and had little airflow, but that’s not anyone’s fault… except climate change.

“Tutto perfetto!”

Perfect stay, clean building, and friendly staff. The restaurant deserves praise. The great thing is that the abbey has everything you need: park, bar, gelato shop, restaurants. An oasis of peace away from the city and close to the sea. No complaints.

The location feels like an insane place of peace far from the chaos; the only slight let‑down was the restaurant, which could have been great given the setting. I’d have liked wooden tables instead of modern plastic ones, decent food, and good service.
