Honestly, we weren’t sure what to expect, but what a magnificent surprise! Everyone was always available, the accommodation was clean, and we felt at home. We could only see the sea from the balcony, yet at night we could hear the waves crashing on the beach. How wonderful! Breakfast was just perfect from 8 am to 9:30 am; we even bothered them at 7:50 am because we had an excursion and they served us. The beach access was amazing on Volbert beach; we probably saw 30 rays the first night, it was magical.

“Direct aan het strand, heerlijk!”

A lovely family hotel right on the beautiful beach. You can take a beach chair from the garden. With a few drinks from the shop opposite the hotel, life is good.

“Einmaliger Meerblick”

A tasty breakfast with fresh juice, a stunning sea view, and a shower with plenty of water pressure. We could charge our borrowed e‑bikes, and the host was always reachable. The boat trip to Turtle Island cost 55 € per person, including entry, and that’s the best price you’ll find. The place was very quiet because there are no neighbors nearby and no shared walls with other guests; the other guests around us were silent. We could pay for the accommodation with a credit card without any extra fee. The whole staff was incredibly friendly, and on request we received beach towels and even had the beach chairs brought to us. It’s almost the only place with a sea view. The room could be a bit more modern, but given the price that’s the best you can expect. We were more than satisfied with the budget room, and from a location standpoint it was the best room in the property.
