The staff were friendly, the beds were very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was nice, but the price felt high—perhaps because of the weekend with two big gigs in the city—and the hotel is quite far from the city centre.

Breakfast blew us away; the spread was far beyond a typical continental breakfast, with boiled eggs, pancakes, crispy bacon, homemade banana bread, scones, cereals, fresh fruit salad with yoghurt, seeds, and more. The bar/dining area offers a lovely view, and the property’s former golf club setting makes it a tranquil place to unwind after a busy day. The staff were friendly, helpful, and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival—something you don’t always get in a fancier place. It isn’t the most modern, but it was spotless and had everything you’d need as a base in Carrigaline.

Everything was wonderful! Such a beautiful setting and the lodge was so comfortable and inviting. They had everything you could want and the staff were exceptional, so helpful and kind. Breakfast was lovely and the facilities were great. We stayed here and attended a concert in the city and Deborah assisted at every step and helped us plan all our transportation. The lodge is situated only a short drive from the city but you feel like you're in the countryside, so peaceful and picturesque. Next time I'm in Cork I will definitely be staying here again and would highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed our stay, and the location just outside Cork city was lovely; there was nothing I didn’t like.
