The location was beautiful, picturesque, and very welcoming. The host was very kind and caring, and communication was excellent. The breakfast the next day was outstanding. Everything was perfect for us.

The breakfasts were excellent, a generous and sustaining Continental spread. We loved the rooms, especially the private sitting cum breakfast room and bathroom; it was warm and cosy. We’re used to rural surroundings and enjoy staying in farming environments. The lighting was fine but an additional reading light would have been welcome.

Perfect mix of having your own space while knowing the friendly hosts are around if you need anything. The house is beautiful, the bedrooms are super light and the guest living room/dining area downstairs is cosy but also quite large for two people. Breakfast was delicious; I need the recipe for the berry thing! The homemade bread and farm‑style butter were amazing too!

Loved the location and the fact that we were there alone, which was great as my sister and I are still grieving the loss of our lovely mum. Breakfast was excellent; absolutely loved the fresh bread. Nothing.
