The place had a great spot, yet the room smelled like food that had just arrived.

The location was good, but the bathroom was a nightmare – the shower was awful and the beds were infested with bed bugs.

Minden. Remek helyen. Tengerpart közel, buszmelállók közel. 5-10 percre. Hangulatos , barátságos szállás. Kedves segítőkész személyzet. Ragyogóan tiszta minden. A fürdőszoba különösen. A vendégek is jófejek voltak, kedvesek, kommunikatívak. Helyi boltok közelben. Zöldséges, pékség, cukrászda féle, húsbolt, patika, minimarket , tetkószalon., pub - a környező utcácskákban. Könnyű eltévedni, mert nagyon hasonlóan néznek ki a hagyományos épületek. És szűkek az utcák. Minden tetszett. Talán a földszinten, ahol a konyha is van, jó lenne egy közös toalett

The hostel had a family vibe, the staff were very kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious, with lockable wardrobes and hangers. A fan cooled the air, and there was an elevator. The sea was a few streets away, but you had to find a suitable spot to swim because the beach was rocky. Bus stops were 5‑10 minutes away, with many routes that reach every part of Malta. A 7‑day pass at the airport costs 27 € and works on all airport buses and throughout the island. However, the schedule is not always kept; sometimes the desired bus doesn’t arrive. Small shops and local grocers are near the hostel. The kitchen is well equipped and kept clean, and it also serves as a good social space. There is a TV room with a huge sofa, but the TV itself didn’t work. The charging plug isn’t EU standard but is English; you can buy one at reception if you forget it at home. On the ground floor, where the kitchen is, there’s no shared toilet; you have to go up to your room, hoping the bathroom is free. Unfortunately, the shared fridge repeatedly disappeared my triangle sandwich, latte, and San Benedetto lemonade, even though I wrote my name in big letters on it. I don’t blame the host for that. I mention it because I’ve never had such an experience before, despite traveling to many places, and I was furious at the thief I suspected. What really pissed me off was that four days before my booked dates, the reservation was cancelled because there wasn’t enough money on my credit card. I had to find accommodation quickly. Luckily, there was still one bed available at that time, but I still needed another! This has never happened again. I always paid for the booked bed at the hostel in other countries.
