The property is truly the heart and brain of Ikoyi. The hygiene is impeccable and there’s a beautiful ocean view from the outside of the room. The staff are incredibly hospitable. The rooms are spotless and well maintained. The cuisine is outstanding. Nothing! I like everything about Citi Residence!!
“A memorable experience!”
It was my first time at the hotel; breakfast was just average, but on this occasion they had an array of quality breakfast, especially their steaming and yummy Ofada rice and the local stew. There is no swimming pool.
The room setup was fine, but the rooms themselves left something to be desired.

Overall, the hotel is a very nice place to stay. The rooftop is amazing for a quiet afternoon and evening breeze. I arrived in the evening and the staff were very welcoming. They acknowledged my booking and showed me to my room. I especially want to thank the manager Mr Temitope Akinwunmi, who took time to make my stay very welcoming and enjoyable by explaining the area when I asked about where to go on a quiet Sunday afternoon for boat trips. He even let me watch the Arsenal game at the reception area downstairs. Another staff member, Moses Adeyemi, helped with my luggage and was very polite with smiles, and another staff member, Elizabeth, was very nice with morning breakfast and evening meals. Overall I enjoyed myself and will visit again anytime I’m in Lagos. I can’t think of anything to criticize since the staff were all nice.

The place sits in a great spot and offers good value. The staff, especially Moses and Godwin, were very helpful. I liked working out in the gym and the breakfast was acceptable. Getting in was smooth even though the estate is restricted. The only downside was the brown tap water and the way it made the linen and towels smell.
