A calm and well‑located place. The owner is very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are very spacious and the pool is pleasant after a long day of excursions. The breakfast is very hearty!

From the reception upon arrival, a complimentary water bottle at every entrance and exit, huge breakfast dishes with local products, homemade jams, and fresh juices. They helped us with free laundry cleaning, provided information… honestly a perfect 10/10. The area is quiet and close to restaurants. You can eat at the hotel for a very good price.

When the owner Kiri showed up and offered to personally bring the rest of the tasty, varied breakfast to my room, I realized this place is built on extraordinary service. I’ve traveled a lot over the past decades and rarely get surprised anymore. These three days were a delightful surprise. Add to that the eco‑friendly approach to growing food and hiring local people, and you get a place that wins people’s hearts. It’s a place where you can be yourself and feel part of the family. The name of my cottage sums it up in three words: Home Sweet Home. I’ll be back.

Kiri is a truly fantastic host. He took care of us from arranging long‑distance transport to restaurant referrals to adapting his food ingredients for dietary sensitivities. He showed us his garden and freely shared his extensive knowledge. The swimming pool is nice and big. Kiri is a fantastic cook and clearly enjoys spoiling his guests with great food. Some parts of the accommodation are old and starting to wear, but that was fine for us and part of the charm.
