The views over Nageen Lake are stunning, the surroundings are tranquil, and the Gurkha team offered fantastic hospitality. The manager and staff were friendly and attentive, making the stay unforgettable in one of the world’s best scenic spots. It’s a bit pricey, but the experience justifies the cost. The floor carpets in the room could be more securely attached to the floor.

The houseboat is nicely kept, sits in a great location, and the crew is very good. The room is a bit small.

The location is superb and very peaceful, less crowded than Dal Lake because it’s on Nigeen Lake. Service was excellent from Ashraf, with Reyaz and Mr. Tanveer as caretakers and manager, all very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good.

The food was good and the staff tried to be accommodating. The heating in the room wasn’t working, making the stay very uncomfortable in the cold weather.
