Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
In the morning the staff were friendly and polite, but the accommodation we got was above the restaurant; from 1‑2 am there was loud shouting that made it impossible to rest. The walls were moldy and dusty everywhere, and there were cockroaches everywhere. The pictures on the booking site had nothing to do with reality.

The spot is great, the staff is excellent, the bed and pillows are comfy, the bathroom is clean but lacks accessories, the sink is tiny and the tap is loose.

Nota: 10/10. Quarto simples e antigo, mas muito confortável e impecavelmente limpo. Excelente atendimento de toda a equipe, especialmente do proprietário, sempre presente e muito atencioso. Café da manhã muito bom. Ótima localização, perto da Mesquita Azul e de tudo, com acesso fácil a pé. Há um leve cheiro de encanamento por ser uma construção antiga, mas nada que comprometa. Pelo valor pago, superou minhas expectativas. Recomendo e voltaria. Quarto um pouco antigo mas diante do que paguei não posso reclamar Nota 10

The service was pleasant, breakfasts were good. I didn’t stay in the building shown in the photos; right after check‑in I was moved to a low‑standard room that didn’t resemble the pictures at all. We were told the building we were supposed to stay in had no power, so they had to assign us to another property. We asked for a better room and the next day we got one, but it still left a lot to be desired. On the first day, after breakfast, a man—probably the manager—approached me with the complaint that I wasn’t entitled to breakfast and should pay for it, even though my reservation said breakfast was included. In the end we sorted it out and in the following days we received breakfast without issues.

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was exceptional and comprehensive. Everything was fine except the deplorable state of the facilities: the rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was very good. We were housed in apartments in front of the hotel that were falling apart—faucets were falling off, there were damp spots on the ceiling, the shower had a hole in the wall, roaches were everywhere, and a sewer smell rose from the shower drain. It felt like a horror hotel.
