The price was reasonable. The building is very old; the towel was in a deplorable state, apparently completely stained with something like a plant. It was replaced. The in‑room bathroom is very spartan, with a very small sink in a “water‑pot” style and a side‑only mirror. I tried to change rooms because of the inadequate bathroom but it wasn’t possible. The site photo of the bathroom doesn’t appear and the impractical sink isn’t mentioned.

The host was wonderful, communicated fast and offered suggestions. Self‑entry was incredibly easy, which was great because we had a late check‑in. The room was clean, quiet, and had comfortable beds. The host even left complimentary coffee pods! The shared kitchen and bathroom felt entirely private, as we didn’t even see anyone. The kitchen is brilliantly organized with designated fridge and pantry storage for each room, plus great amenities. Location wise, it’s ideal. A large supermarket and transit links are just blocks away. It was the perfect base for us to cook a quick dinner and sleep a few hours before our early morning flight. The airport is an 8‑minute, €8.50 Uber ride away. We would definitely recommend this place especially to travellers on a budget.

The room had no clean sheets or bedding set up at 3 pm check‑in. It was all self‑check‑in and nobody was there to help. The bed was covered in stains. I couldn’t see myself sleeping there. The room was also very hot and noisy. The place smelled of mold and the showers were gross.

The only good thing was that it was close enough to the stadium, but the bathroom was filthy, the sink was so tiny that my two hands barely fit, the towels were ancient, and the shower stall was full of limescale.
